Chained Demon in Hello

"What in hell do you want?" Take a moment to reflect on this question—likely not a pause you've taken before. Is there a lure from the depths of that realm that captivates your present thoughts, enticing you with the idea, "I must acquire a piece of that for myself"?

The notion that hell isn't a genuine place stands out as one of Satan's top deceptive tricks, perhaps second only to the denial of his existence in the first place.

Hell is often dismissed, its gravity diluted by Hollywood's desensitizing portrayals. What should repel us now becomes entertainment, as we eagerly record and watch shows that mock everything godly. Witches, vampires, demons, and even Lucifer have found a place on our screens, rendering a peculiar image of hell that, if advertised, might be presented with a lack of concern, as if the infernal hell were just another form of amusement.

The world's promotion for hell might take the form of a banner draped over the doorway of a Marvel character, and in contemplating this, one might find a chuckle or even a smile at its comedic essence. The underlying point is that we've grown accustomed to elements of darkness to the extent that we willingly purchase tickets to witness it unfold right before our eyes.

Your laughter or smirk indicates successful desensitization, making you a target of the very purpose behind it. In your reaction, they have achieved their goal.

To emphasize the intentional desensitization of individuals globally to the concepts of hell and Satan, examine specific occurrences within the realms of both the movie and music industries. These sectors frequently serve as instruments for societal influence, orchestrated by governmental entities, significantly contributing to the formation of our shared "programming."

How many of these songs have ingrained themselves in your memories, stirring recollections of partying and revelry at their mere sound? I presume a significant number of us. This glaring reality serves as a testament to the effectiveness of desensitization. It's highly likely that some may dismiss this article as overly strict, rigid, religious, or harsh—a reaction that underscores the very point being made. The pervasive indoctrination has obscured our ability to perceive what is plainly in front of us.

Chained Demon in Hell

The Bible, distinctly outlines the attributes of Hell. It is depicted as a realm marked by fire and torment, symbolizing intense suffering without end. Hell signifies separation from God, a state of spiritual darkness, and an eternal nature of punishment. The haunting sounds of weeping and gnashing of teeth underscore the emotional and physical anguish endured in this biblical concept of Hell.

The scriptures serve as major warnings, ensuring that we cannot claim ignorance of God's counsel:

  • Revelation 20:15 (NKJV): "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

  • 2 Thessalonians 1:9 (NKJV): "These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power."

  • Matthew 8:12 (NKJV): "But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

  • Matthew 25:46 (NKJV): "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

  • Matthew 13:50 (NKJV): "and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."

In Isaiah 14:9-11 (NKJV), a compelling passage unveils the welcoming of the fallen king of Babylon in Hell, who is Satan. The vivid depiction unfolds as Hell eagerly anticipates his arrival, stirring up the dead, including evil leaders and kings of nations, from their thrones to embrace Satan in his actual true state and his final entrance forever bound in Hell:

Hell from beneath is excited about you,

To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you,

All the chief ones of the earth; (evil leaders)

It has raised up from their thrones All the kings of the nations. (evil leaders)

They all shall speak and say to you (satan): Have you also become as weak as we?

Have you become like us? Your pomp is brought down to Sheol,

And the sound of your stringed instruments; (recall Lucifer in his pre-Satan state adorned with pipes and timbrels within his very being)

The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’”

Addressing Satan, those already in hell question his diminished state, emphasizing the decline of his grandeur to Hell. In verses 16-17, the intensity escalates, laying bare a stark reality that reveals the deception to which everyone yielded:

Those who see you stare at you,

they ponder your fate:

Is this the man who shook the earth

and made kingdoms tremble,

the man who made the world a wilderness,

who overthrew its cities

and would not let his captives go home?”

Devil becomes a man in Hell

Can you imagine the look on their faces? On the day when this happens, the world will be astounded by the extent to which the devil's influence was magnified on earth. Many will reflect on how his deceptive tactics misled them, realizing that they lived in fear of something that should not have been feared had they viewed it through the correct lenses in which the bible gave us.

Scripture affirms that the world will come to recognize the extent of deception, darkness, and the blindness of their eyes and ears as they persist in rebellion and sin, disregarding warnings not only from God but also from His people. In today's technological age, these warnings abound, leaving no excuse for anyone. This next verse highlights the spiritual blindness caused by the influence of the devil, preventing individuals from comprehending the profound truths of the gospel:

2 Corinthians 4:4 (NKJV): "In whom the god of this age (satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them."

Hell is not merely a consequence or creation of Satan; rather, it emerges as a distinct, living realm brought into existence by God. It serves as a designated space for Satan and the one-third of angels who rebelled alongside him.

Matthew 25:41 (NKJV): "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'"
2 Peter 2:4 (ESV) "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;

So, how did humanity find its place in a destination meant for Satan? In John 8:39, Jesus proceeds to elaborate that Satan has spiritual descendants: Satan's seed encompasses those who carry out Satan's will in rebellion against God.

John 8:39 "But now you [those in Jesus' audience] seek to kill Me... You do the deeds of your father... You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do."
John 8:44 (ESV): You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The Bible employs a diverse array of names to depict the concept of hell, such as Tartarus, Hades, Abaddon, Outer Darkness, Bottomless Pit, Pit, Abyss, Lake of Fire, Sheol, and Gehenna. In the New Testament Jesus uses the term, Gehenna, a word that held significant historical and geographical weight in Jesus' time. Gehenna wasn't merely an abstract concept; it was a tangible location, a valley just south of Jerusalem.

Dumpster on Fire

Gehenna served as a city dump where trash was continually burned, emitting a repugnant odor and perpetual smoke—qualities associated with the notion of hell. Historically, Gehenna carried a much darker legacy. It was a site of Israel's gravest transgressions, a place where God's people engaged in idolatry and performed abhorrent practices, including human sacrifice, often involving children.

Gehenna, in its historical context, was a manifestation of hell on earth.

When Jesus used this word, his audience would have immediately conjured a vivid mental image, recalling the painful memories associated with the valley—memories of their ancestors' grievous actions.

The teachings of the Bible openly declare the existence of two distinct fathers, God and the Devil, representing two opposing kingdoms led by Jesus and Satan, respectively. In contrast to certain occult practices characterized by secrecy, hidden agendas, and symbolic gestures with concealed meanings, The unveiling of God's Word is marked by transparency and clarity, facilitated by the Spirit of Revelation. This divine Spirit is not withheld from us; it exists for our benefit, to open up the depths and expanses of the Word of God. God earnestly desires to reveal His Word to us.

The Scriptures provide a straightforward and accessible understanding of the spiritual realities, emphasizing the stark contrast between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness led by Satan. The openness of God's communication stands in contrast to the veiled nature of occult practices, promoting a clear and accessible path for individuals seeking divine truth.

Hell, as depicted in many of Jesus' parables, is not a grim penitentiary filled with unwilling souls condemned against their will. Instead, it is portrayed as the dwelling place of those who make a conscious and willful choice to reject God.

In various teachings, Jesus unequivocally extends an invitation to all, emphasizing that everyone is welcome to partake in the heavenly celebration. However, he highlights the crucial element of individual choice, acknowledging that some willfully opt to spurn this invitation.

This perspective aligns with the notion that hell is a consequence of human decisions rather than a predetermined fate imposed by external forces.

Marriage Invitation

One notable example is found in Matthew 22:2-14, where Jesus shares the Parable of the Wedding Feast. In this parable, a king invites guests to a wedding feast, symbolizing God's invitation to join in the divine celebration. Yet, despite the open invitation, some choose to reject it, representing the voluntary rejection of God's offer.

In essence, Jesus conveys that the path to hell is not a coerced journey but a result of individuals consciously turning away from the gracious invitation extended to them. The parables emphasize the importance of personal choice and the consequences that stem from rejecting the opportunity to partake in the divine celebration.

Engaging in anything presented at Satan's buffet, irrespective of the industry in which it comes, involves deception and false promises, offering fleeting rewards such as fortune, fame, wealth, or elevated status. However, these apparent gains come with a significant and lasting cost. Unfortunately, many people adopt a short-term outlook on life, fixating on immediate benefits without realizing the eternal consequences. The Bible warns about fearing the one who can take both body and soul in hell (Matthew 10:28).

Matthew 10:28 (NKJV): "And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

A holy and righteous God is pure, and hell represents everything impure. Our inability to attain such perfection is redeemed through Jesus. As Scripture declares in 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV):

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

In Christ, we are made perfect, as emphasized in Hebrews 10:14 (NKJV):

"For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified."

The profound beauty lies in God's gift of choice and the provision of a way out, Jesus. Even before Lucifer's rebellion and the fall of a third of the angels, God had already planned to step into our world, taking on human form, becoming flesh, and accomplishing what we, in our imperfection, could never achieve.

His love predates the existence of this Earth, our creation, and His provision was in place. God's love encompasses all of time. God, known as the Alpha and Omega, comprehends the end from the beginning. The unfolding events on Earth are not a result of God's lack of power; rather, the entire story is scripted in His Word. How many prophecies are to be fulfilled before the end?

In His omnipotence and boundless love, He desires your love willingly given, never forced, offering free choice. He granted you the freedom to decide your ultimate destination.

Commit yourself wholeheartedly, for God expects unwavering dedication. He admonishes us to be either fervently committed or completely disinterested; lukewarmness is unacceptable, and He warns that such individuals will be spewed out (Revelation 3:16). If you discover yourself ensnared in the occult, it's imperative to break free. No tradition crafted by man is worth jeopardizing your soul. If Satan has any influence within a secret system, you can bet he is intricately connected to the entire construct.

Whatever realm Satan infiltrates, be aware that his demons accompany him, exerting influence upon you. The sole escape is to eliminate their presence entirely. This necessitates a decisive choice. The more you linger in their midst, the more formidable their impact becomes. For many individuals, their conscience becomes dulled as the demons normalize their presence, mirroring the global desensitization perpetuated by the entertainment industry. If you're unable to perceive God, it's likely because the hands of the devil are gripping your heart.

There is no room for divided allegiance. There is no middle ground when it comes to Satan; he is either entirely welcomed or categorically locked out. It's your responsibility to delve into the truth and refrain from accepting occult practices and seemingly virtuous man-made traditions that, in reality, serve the devil. In today's information age, ignorance is not a plausible choice.

The truth is readily accessible, and your decision not to seek it positions you in alignment with the darkness that you may be unwilling to acknowledge.

A bible full of LOVE

Gracious Father,

In Jesus name, I pray for every soul entangled in occult practices, bound by pledges and ensnared in man-made traditions. Some may be conscious of the allegiance they've made, while others are deceived into thinking they follow the right path.

I ask you to unveil the darkness that shrouds them. Open the eyes and hearts of the deceived, allowing the fear of God not only to be observed but deeply felt. May they sense the Holy Spirit's conviction not as a gentle touch but as the intense heat right before one is engulfed by a blazing fire.

Let them feel the weight, experience the darkness before it claims them for eternity. For those who may not grasp the dichotomy of being either with God or against Him, whether believers in Jesus or not, labeled in diverse ways, may this day be the one where the veils obscuring their vision are lifted.

PRAYER OF SALVATION:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I haven't always followed your path, and I'm sorry for my sins.

Please forgive me and wash me clean.

I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day.

I open my heart and life to you now. Come in and be my Lord and Savior.

Help me to live each day for you and in a way that pleases you.

Thank you for your love and grace.

In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
