Ecclesiastes 11:5 invites us to contemplate the wonders of creation, likening the mysterious nature of the wind to the intricate formation of life within a mother's womb. Consider the wind, unseen yet profoundly impactful. We may feel its presence, but its origin and destination remain elusive. Similarly, the complexity of God's design, the Maker of all things, transcends our comprehension.

Ecclesiastes 11:5(NKJV): "As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything."

Think about the wind – we never truly see it unless it forcefully moves something in its path. It's a powerful force we can sense but never fully grasp. Much like God, whose ways are beyond our understanding. We can't trace His origin or predict His course, yet we have His Word as a guide.

Just as the wind moves without revealing its source, so does God work in ways that elude our understanding, guiding us through the unseen currents of faith.

Reflect on the miracle of life within a mother's womb. Just as the wind quietly shapes the world around us, a child is in the process of formation before we even realize it. The signs may be subtle, but life is budding. In these mysteries, we find a profound truth – there are aspects of life we may never fully grasp.

As the wind forcefully moves in its mystery, so does God's hand shape our lives, urging us to trust the unseen and follow His Word as our guiding breeze.

Consider the urgency to understand every detail of the wind, or the miraculous creation of life. Sometimes, our quest for understanding can distract us from the beauty of surrendering to the divine plan. We may not comprehend every aspect, but we are called to believe, to trust, and to surrender to the Creator who orchestrates the symphony of life.

In our pursuit of knowledge, let's not overlook the miracles that surround us daily. We may not fully understand God's ways, but we can surrender our hearts, acknowledging the limits of our understanding. Embrace the mysteries, and remember, God never asked us to understand Him completely but to surrender, believe, and walk in faith.

Hebrews 11:1:"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."

Hebrews 11:1 beautifully encapsulates the essence of faith, describing it as the firm assurance of our hopes and the unwavering conviction in the unseen. In these words, we find a profound reminder that faith is not merely a passive belief but a confident and steadfast trust in the promises and realities beyond our immediate sight.

Here we have several scriptures telling us to only Believe:

  1. Acts 16:31 - "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household."

  2. Mark 1:15 - “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

  3. Luke 8:50 - Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

  4. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 - "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him."

  5. 1 John 5:13 - "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."

  6. Mark 11:24 - "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

  7. Romans 10:9 - "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

  8. Galatians 3:22 - "But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe."

  9. Hebrews 11:6 - "And without faith, it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a humble heart, seeking Your presence and desiring a deeper understanding of Your truth. Forgive me for the times when I've doubted and wished to see before believing. I repent of any barriers I've placed in my heart that hinder me from fully embracing Your revealed self.

Lord, I ask that You remove anything that obscures my vision of Your truth. Shine Your light on the areas of darkness in my soul that contribute to my lack of faith. Open my eyes to see Your glory, and grant me the wisdom to trust in Your divine plan even when I cannot comprehend it fully.

I surrender my doubts and uncertainties to You, O God. Let Your presence be known in my life, revealing Yourself in ways that surpass my understanding. Strengthen my faith, remove any obstacles that hinder my spiritual sight, and fill me with the assurance that comes from knowing You.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.
